How You Will Make an Impact
As the vital financial link between the office, the heads of department and the boardroom, you will:
Drive Financial Clarity:Oversee the full monthly production of management accounts, with a sharp focus on WIP analysis, cost-to-complete, and project profitability.
Advise the Board:Partner closely with company Directors, translating complex financial data into actionable strategies that optimize contract performance.
Modernize & Improve:Put your stamp on the department by upgrading financial systems, streamlining processes, and strengthening internal controls.
Secure the Future: Take ownership of annual budgeting, commercial forecasting, and maintaining robust cash flow models.
What We Are Looking For
The Background:A proven track record in management accounting or financial management, ideally with experience in a fast paced SME.
The Credentials:Fully Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or a Finalist. We also highly value experience and strongly encourageQualified by Experience (QBE)candidates to apply.
The Tech Skills:Advanced Excel capabilities and a natural knack for optimizing financial software.
The Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to present clear, concise performance reports directly to business owners.
