Salary PS10 £47,318 pro‑rata (plus £45 pw sleeping-in allowance)

Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSETs)

42 hours per week – fixed term for one year

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Head of the Residential Provision for one year to cover a maternity leave.

We can offer you an outstanding and innovative residential provision with a strong and dedicated team. An NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is essential as is a driving licence with 2 years driving experience.

Main responsibilities

  • To ensure that the school promotes and safeguards the welfare of all students
  • To lead the Residential Provision, and manage the Residential Provision staff team
  • To lead and co‑coordinate the preparation for annual Residential Ofsted inspections
  • To ensure students’ needs are met in line with their IHCPs and EHCPs
