Right now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Regional Applications Team in the position of Data & Automation Engineer.

This position is responsible for managing data related requests for EMEA and Americas. It comprises two main functions of delivering outputs, such as ETL processes, data warehousing and data modelling, and automating solutions for business users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define data needs across systems and develop and implement custom solutions with focus on Fabric and Azure.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Design and build data solutions: create and manage data pipelines and data warehouses using Microsoft Fabric and other tools
  • Ingest and transform data from various sources, involving API integrations and ETL/ELT processes
  • Develop and maintain the security model for data assets.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows and pipelines for performance and efficiency
  • Support business teams in adopting new processes and technologies to meet their data analytics needs
  • Work with Microsoft PowerPlatform to deliver automations and support other team members with their automations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Document business requirements, operating procedures, and data-related solutions
  • Provide technical insights and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle

What we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with relational databases and building complex queries for data extraction and reporting
  • Demonstrable experience with ETL and ELT pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, and protocols.
  • Thorough knowledge of data and process modelling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites.
  • Five years of Microsoft Fabric (or equivalent): demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform and other MS Azure Technologies
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, project management, and teamwork skills
  • Comprehensive analytical, technical and application development/programming skills
  • Fluent in English to a high-level

The typical salary range for this position is: £43,124 – £66,344

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills and experience. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
