Senior HR Manager – 12-Month FTC, People & Culture

deverellsmith is looking for a Senior People Manager in Reading for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role reports to the CEO and focuses on providing strategic oversight and hands-on delivery across People & Culture.

The successful candidate will ensure continuity in HR operations, manage complex employee matters, and improve HR processes within a collaborative culture. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices is essential.

The position requires excellent communication skills and experience using HR systems like HiBob.
