Finance Manager | Gloucester (3-4 days in office) | £48,000 – £55,000

This role is a pivotal part of that evolution, offering the chance to provide stable leadership while directly influencing the next chapter of the business. This is the perfect role for a qualified accountant to remain hands on, but add value in both improving processes and getting involved in commercial projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Full responsibility for preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports across the group P&L and supporting the consolidated group balance sheet and cash flow production
- Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments, deferred income, adjustments and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare, review and reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including intercompany, fixed assets and control accounts in line with group expectations
- Provide detailed variance analysis, commentary and ad hoc analysis work
- Preparation of ah hoc financial analysis, forecasts and external reporting
- Support the preparation of group-level tax information, statutory accounts and wider reporting requirements.
- Collaborate and support on budgeting and forecasting
- Support year end processes, external audit and statutory account preparation
- Oversee and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative, hands on team culture
Your Profile:
- CIMA / ACMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified
- Experience in management accounting
- Hands on as well as leading a team
- Strong Excel experience
- Closely located to site in Gloucester
