Family Solicitor – Private Family (c.5 Years PQE)
Founded on a strong reputation, this role offers a confident solicitor with around five years of post-qualification experience to manage a varied private family caseload in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Location: Liverpool – hybrid working available.

The Role
You will handle a broad range of private family law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private child disputes
- Cohabitation disputes and Schedule 1 Children Act claims
- Pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload with autonomy
- Drafting pleadings, statements, agreements and other legal documents
- Advising clients on strategy and negotiating settlements
- Preparing matters for court and attending hearings including FDRs and final hearings
- Working closely with counsel, experts and other professionals
- Promoting the use of non‑court dispute resolution where appropriate
- Maintaining excellent standards of client care
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where relevant
About You
To be considered for this role you will:
- Be a qualified solicitor with around 5 years PQE in family law
- Have experience managing private family law matters independently
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of family law and procedure
- Be confident dealing with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
- Have excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Be well organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team
