We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Agricultural Area Sales Manager to join our established team at our Marlesford branch in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for agriculture and sales to develop their career within a well-respected dealership.

The Role

Reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of new and used agricultural machinery and associated equipment within a defined territory. You will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop sales within your designated area
  • Promote and sell agricultural machinery, both new and used
  • Identify and maximise new sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Represent the dealership and its portfolio of leading brands
  • Attend customer events, shows, and demonstrations
  • Demonstrate machinery and equipment where required
  • Ensure all products are delivered in line with company and brand standards
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by management

About You

  • Strong knowledge of the agricultural industry and machinery
  • Proven experience in sales, service, or parts within the sector
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales and upselling
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Confident in influencing, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Well-organised with good administrative skills
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

Additional Information

Start Date: Immediate, subject to notice period

Hours: 42.5 hours per week – 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday (1‑hour unpaid lunch). Additional hours may be required, including weekends during peak periods such as harvest.

Compensation: Competitive salary dependent on experience, plus commission. Company car and mobile phone provided.
