Service Manager Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Renal Medicine

Full Time, Fixed Term Bank/Agency, Band 8A

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall management responsibility of the departments and ensure all key performance indicators are delivered safely and well‑led, including delivery of recovery plans and service developments.
• Engage with all stakeholders across the trust, including external users such as the Croydon GP Collaborative, to deliver services.
• Lead procurement projects related to departmental projects.
• Accountable for day‑to‑day operational decisions within areas of responsibility.
• Support and collaborate with the Clinical Director, Associate Director of Operations, General Manager (where appropriate), Associate Director of Nursing, Clinical Heads of Service, and Matrons in planning, development, provision and review of the Service Group & Directorate’s services.
• Manage all aspects of operational service and performance management for medical specialties.
