This role offers a starting salary within Nacro’s pay structure of £37,581 Entry with expected progression to £41,031 Established within the first year, subject to meeting clear criteria and performance standards, with further pay progression available in the future. Nacro’s pay framework provides transparent progression points and supports ongoing professional development and career growth

This role requires regular travel across an allocated area and therefore, a Full Driving License and access to your own vehicle with business insurance are essential.

About the Service

Our supported housing services will provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to adults with a history of homelessness and complex support needs. Many of the people we support may experience challenges linked to mental health, substance use, offending history, domestic abuse, social isolation or long-term exclusion from services.

Alongside our mixed services, we will also deliver dedicated women’s services, creating safe, empowering and supportive environments where women can recover, rebuild confidence and move towards independent living.

The service will focus on:

The Service Lead will provide operational leadership across the supported housing service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative and outcome-focused support for people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving service excellence, embedding trauma-informed practice and ensuring the service achieves its aims, objectives and contractual outcomes.

The successful candidatewill work full time Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm and work closely with the Area Manager, commissioners, housing providers, health partners, statutory agencies and voluntary sector organisations to strengthen pathways, develop partnerships and contribute to wider efforts to tackle homelessness across Manchester.

The Service Lead will play a central role in developing effective networks across the city, improving collaborative working and ensuring people receive coordinated, person-centred support that enables long-term recovery and independence.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience leading homelessness, supported housing or complex needs services
  • Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with commissioners and external agencies
  • A track record of delivering high-quality services and positive outcomes
  • Strong leadership, performance and people management skills
  • A passion for systems change and improving lives
