HVAC Engineer (TB 837371) City of London, England

Salary: GBP48,000 – GBP55,000 per annum + vehicle + overtime and door-to-door

A well‑established building services and facilities management contractor is looking to recruit an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their growing London team, supporting a portfolio of commercial and industrial sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a stable business offering consistent work, strong earning potential, ongoing training, and genuine progression routes.

The Role

  • Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a range of HVAC systems
  • Fault‑finding on electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components
  • Servicing and maintaining:
    • Split & multi‑split systems
    • VRV / VRF systems
    • AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation equipment
    • Heat pumps and chillers (where applicable)
  • Leak detection, pressure testing, evacuation, and recharging systems
  • Completing service reports and F‑Gas compliance documentation
  • Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Working in line with F‑Gas and Health & Safety regulations
  • Taking part in an on‑call rota (typically 1 in 6 / 1 in 8)

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience as an HVAC / AC Service Engineer
  • F‑Gas Category 1 licence
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
  • Good understanding of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • Experience with chillers, heat pumps, or ventilation systems
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • IPAF / PASMA
