Erith, Kent £58,000pa + Benefits + Career Progression⏰ 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Façades & Glazing Designer to join a leading specialist contractor delivering complex, high-profile developments across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of façade design delivery, working across large-scale projects from concept through to construction, while progressing your career in a technically strong and supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading façade design outputs across multiple projects
- Producing detailed drawings and technical documentation
- Developing designs from concept through to construction issue
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and site teams
- Coordinating with architects and consultants to resolve design challenges
- Ensuring full compliance with UK regulations and industry standards
- Supporting system development, material selection, and value engineering
- Attending design and coordination meetings
- Managing design records, revisions, and documentation accuracy

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in façade, curtain walling, cladding, or envelope design
- Strong knowledge of façade systems and installation methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or 3D tools advantageous)
- Understanding of UK building regulations
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
