Patient Affairs and Reception Supervisor

To provide supervision of reception andoverseepatientaffairsservices, ensuring efficient administrative support across the unit. This includes overseeing petty cash/patientfundsadministration, staff supervision,Rotamanagement, and ensuring compliance withorganisationalpolicies and financial instructions. The post holder will support both clinical and administrative teams,maintainhigh standardsof record keeping, and contribute to service development.

Main duties of the job

– Supervise receptionists and admin staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.- Manage shiftrotasand ensure adequate cover.- Chair regular team meetings anddisseminateinformation.- Implement supervision and appraisal processes, including Personal Development Plans.

– Administer petty cash and travel expenses for patients.-Assistin managing financial information systems in line with Trust protocols.- Provide financial reports to senior staff asrequired.- Conductaudits of patients’ property and report findings.

– Conduct annual audits in line with the Trust’s financial standards and policy.

Person Specification

Education/Qualifications

  • Good level of education (Maths & English) Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
  • RSA 2, other IT qualifications
