Role Overview
This is a Sales Capture role focused on originating and closing mid-to-large scale deals (£1m–£15m) within Financial Services.
You’ll operate in a consultative, relationship-led sales environment, engaging senior stakeholders (VP/C-suite) and shaping complex opportunities—not selling off-the-shelf solutions or commoditised services.
The role sits at Manager level, with clear progression into more senior sales leadership roles. You’ll own deals end-to-end or support larger pursuits, working across multi-disciplinary teams to build compelling, strategic propositions.
What They’re Looking For
- 4–8 years’ experience in professional services sales (essential)
- Proven experience working on complex, consultative deals (£1m–£15m range)
- Strong exposure to Financial Services (banking, asset management, wealth, or insurance)
- Experience selling high-value advisory or transformation services such as:
- M&A / transaction services
- Data, insights & analytics
- Target Operating Model (TOM) redesign
- AI / digital transformation solutions
- Ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders (VP/C-suite level)
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking with the ability to navigate longer deal cycles
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
- A polished, professional presence with strong relationship-building capability
What This Role Is NOT
- Not high-volume or transactional sales
- Not product / license / SaaS selling
- Not IT services or offshore-led delivery sales
- Not account management or farming-focused
