Legal Counsel – 2-4 PQE – International Services business

Overview

We are a well-established, market leading international organisation operating within a highly regulated and essential services sector. Over recent years, the business has experienced sustained growth driven by long-term partnerships, strategic investment, and an expanding service offering. They are seeking to add a 2-4 PQE legal counsel to take on a varied, general commercial lawyer role.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, review and negotiation of key supplier and customer contracts and bids/ tenders.
• Advising on regulatory and compliance legal matters.
• Assisting on niche legal matters specific to the sector.
• Managing internal stakeholders.
• Managing pre-action disputes and liaising with external counsel.

Candidate profile

• 2-4 years’ PQE as a commercial contracts lawyer.
• Seeking an opportunity to increase learning and development.
• In-house candidates seeking more exposure and variation, or private practice candidates seeking a first in-house move with broad exposure to varied legal work.

Location

The company is headquartered in the West Midlands with 2 days per week required in the head office.
