Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Structural Engineer role Perform structural engineering work, including design, site work, and report writing Deliver conforming to relevant Codes of Practice, Design Guides, and the Building Safety Act 2022 Prepare technical reports and project documentation, specifications and risk assessments. Support the commercial aspects of projects, including cost estimates and budgeting. Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software. Strong understanding of Eurocode design for steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry. Experience in report writing and preparing structural calculations. Commercial awareness of project costs, budgets, and quotations.
