The Workday Technical Consultantis responsible forthe hands‑on configuration, optimization, and technical support of Workday HCM and related modulesduring a Workday HCM implementation project. This roleworks withintheHRTech & Process team and partner closelywithHR Operations, Reward, Talent, and IT to deliver scalable, high‑quality Workdayconfiguration andsolutions. The consultant will independently manage medium‑complexityconfiguration andenhancementsin Workday, integrations (EIB/Core Connectors), business processes, and data quality initiatives, contributing to a stable, efficient, and continuously improving Workday environment.
Workday Configuration & Functional Support
• Configure and enhance Core HCM, including job profiles, supervisoryorganizations, positions, staffing transactions, and custom objects.
•Configure,MaintainandoptimizeBusiness Processes (BPs), including routing, condition rules, notifications, validations.
•Deliver solutions andconfigurationin WorkdayforHCM, Recruiting,Absence, Compensation, Talent,JourneyandPeakonasrequired.
• Conduct impact assessments, document changes, and executeappropriate testing
Preparesolution document, processblueprintsandtest scenario
Deliveryof technical training on the system functionalities
Reporting & Data Management
• Design andbuildWorkday dashboards, scorecards, datasets, and reports.
• Develop intermediate to advanced calculated fields.
Integrations
•BuildandmaintainCore Connectorsand Integrations solutions;
• Build and enhance inbound and outbound EIBand APIintegrations.
• Manage integration schedules, authentication methods, file transfers, and certificates.
Security & Compliance
•Build security configuration and create andmaintainsecurityrolesand access.
•Produceauditreportsand security evidence.
Release Management & Quality Assurance
• Review Workday release notes, evaluate impacts, and perform configuration and regression testing.
• Document outcomes,identifyrelevant features, and recommend enhancements.
• Promote changes across tenants following governance processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
•Work within theHRSystem team, to understand requirements and propose system solutions.
•Deliver Testing andUAT sessions,performtestingscenariosand provide support.
• Communicate technical topics clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
Required
• 5 years of hands‑on Workday experienceandideallyWorkday Pro Certification
• Strong Workday HCM configuration capability, includingideallyTalent, Performance, Recruiting, Compensation/Advanced Compensation, Absence module.
•Experience buildingReports in Workday
•Strongexperience withIntegrations (Core Connectors, EIBs, and RaaS).
• Solid understanding ofWorkday Architecture.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred
• Familiarity with Workday Web Services, XML/JSON, and data mapping.
• Experience in global/multi-country environments.
