Newcastle Red Bulls Newcastle upon Tyne, England Full Time 5.62026Newcastle Red Bulls are recruiting a Senior Academy Analyst to lead the delivery of performance analysis across their Academy programme, supporting player development, talent identification, and transition into senior rugby.
Working within a high-performance environment backed by Red Bull, the successful candidate will provide innovative analysis support across matches, training, IDPs, recruitment, and pathway development.
Key Responsibilities• Lead Academy analysis provision and act as the main point of contact• Deliver video and statistical reports for players and coaches• Support Individual Development Plans (IDPs) through detailed insight• Lead matchday analysis for Academy, loan, and university fixtures• Support talent identification and recruitment processes• Manage coding, storage, and archiving of video and data workflows• Deliver innovative feedback methods and educational support to staff and players• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and first team analysis staff
Essential Requirements• Experience delivering analysis in elite or professional sport• Strong rugby union knowledge and understanding• Experience using Hudl Sportscode, Studio, Tableau or Power BI• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills• Ability to work within fast-paced match environments• Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK
⭐ Desirable• Experience within professional rugby environments• Experience supporting recruitment and talent ID• Knowledge of long-term athlete development models
