Senior Technical Project Manager | Hertfordshire
Enactor is a global provider of next-generation retail and omnichannel POS software, working with leading retailers worldwide. Following continued growth and enterprise client wins, we are looking to hire a Senior Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of our software and application landscape.
The Role
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex software and application-based projects, ensuring successful execution across multiple workstreams.
You will operate in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with engineering, product, and senior stakeholders, while managing offshore delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technical software projects and programmes
- Manage application delivery, including enhancements, upgrades, and new releases
- Oversee release management cycles, ensuring smooth and timely deployments
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to define scope, priorities, and delivery plans
- Coordinate and manage offshore development and delivery teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and methodologies
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager within a software / SaaS environment
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development and application architecture
- Experience managing application delivery and release cycles
- Demonstrated experience working with and managing offshore teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at senior / C-suite level
- Experience working in Agile / hybrid delivery environments
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Experience within retail technology or POS systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices
