Lucy & Lola is a fast-growing personalised clothing and accessories brand specialising in high-quality embroidery and custom products. We are looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Co-ordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing production workflows, coordinating orders, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our busy ecommerce operation. The successful candidate will work closely with our production and fulfilment teams to ensure customer orders are delivered efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standard, while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Role Overview

As the Production Co-ordinator (Evening Shift) at Lucy & Lola, you will take full ownership of evening production operations, leading a small team and driving continuous improvements in efficiency and output as the business undergoes significant growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role that balances strategic thinking with day-to-day operational delivery in a fast-paced environment, combining leadership with direct involvement, including operating embroidery machinery when required to maintain continuity of production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily production operations to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Managing and scheduling embroidery staff team members by uploading artwork to USB’s for machine use
  • Preparing artwork for embroidery machines using Hatch
  • Maintaining SOPs across all production stages
  • Supporting machine operators with troubleshooting and prioritisation
  • Operating embroidery machines to cover staff absence (e.g. sick leave) and maintain production continuity
  • Managing stock levels of blanks, threads, and consumables
  • Leading quality control efforts to maintain brand standards
  • Liaising with Artwork, Digitizing, Customer Service teams
  • Preparing for and scaling during peak periods (esp. Q4)
  • Supporting recruiting, onboarding and training of new staff as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise embroidery workloads, manage machine schedules, and meet tight production deadlines
  • Hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving, with confidence in troubleshooting embroidery machines, thread breaks, tension issues, and stitching faults
  • Continuous improvement mindset, focused on optimising machine efficiency, minimising downtime, and improving stitch quality and output
  • High attention to detail, particularly in stitch quality, design accuracy, thread consistency, and adherence to SOPs
  • Good understanding of stock control, including managing blanks (garments), threads, backing, and other sewing/embroidery consumables
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with Artwork, Digitising, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate production outcomes
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support changing production demands, machine allocation, and peak trading period
  • Confidence in training, onboarding, and supporting team members in embroidery machine operation and production best practices
