CBCS Counsellor
Inspire Wellbeing is recruiting a compassionate and driven Counsellor to join our Mental Health & Addiction Services team working within our Community Based Counselling Services. This is an exciting opportunity to provide time-limited counselling interventions and co-facilitate structured psychoeducational groups for adults and children within community-based services.
?? What You’ll Bring
To be shortlisted, you’ll need:
? A Professional Diploma in Counselling covering psycho-dynamic, CBT and humanistic models of intervention or a person-centred approach AND accredited membership with voluntary assured professional standards governing bodies (e.g., BACP, BABCP, NCPS Professional Registrant Accreditation, UKCP or equivalent).
? A minimum of 300 supervised post-qualification hours (either paid or voluntary) providing counselling or structured emotional support.
? Experience of working with Adults/ children impacted by Addictions and self harm.
? Demonstrable knowledge and confident application of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), within complex and diverse clinical presentations.
? Experience or demonstrable understanding of non-abstinence, recovery-oriented approaches to substance misuse and self-harming behaviours.
? A full current driving licence and access to a car (or reasonable adjustments where applicable)
? Flexibility to work across various locations.

?? Salary: £32,708 – £37,964.53(Higher than the current NHS Band 5 equivalent)
