Supervisor Plus Overview

Role located at Costa. New to Butlin’s, the Supervisor Plus will be the main point of contact for the team during their working day, ensuring standards are checked and compliance is high across the department.

Responsibilities

• Main operational driver of success, ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled.

• Supports accommodation primarily on Monday and Friday, with flexible coverage across departments.

• Provides coaching to the team and drives key targets such as add‑on sales and promotions.

Accountabilities

  • Be the operational hands‑on person, ensuring effectiveness on key tasks.
  • Coach team to deliver key targets.
  • Responsible for CAFF audits in accommodation.
  • Oversee departmental audits (sales targets, perfect serve).
  • Drive add‑on sales and promotions.
  • Ensure all stock/proposition is available.
  • Deliver a quality guest experience in line with brand guidelines.
  • Capture guest feedback and monitor NPS.
  • Coach and develop the team to meet departmental plans.
  • Champion Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
  • Focus on RPRPRT in team rotation.
  • Champion communication within the area.
  • Build relationships across the resort, other resorts, and central support teams.
  • Support people tasks from onboarding through the employee lifecycle.
  • Turn audits and observations into action.

Key Focus Areas Outside of Accommodation (Restaurants & QSRs)

  • Champion Food Safety, applying hygiene standards.
  • Support compliance checks and act on any issues promptly.
  • Deliver a Warm, Welcoming Experience with friendly greetings.
  • Coaching and Developing the Team on service behaviours and upselling.
  • Increase wet sales by ensuring quick drink orders and suggestions.
  • Use effective check‑backs to confirm satisfaction and upsell.
  • Celebrate successes to motivate the team.

KPIs

  • Audits completed in accommodation and other departments.
  • Team training compliance.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance Audits.
  • Guest NPS & Feedback.
  • Improved ENPS.
  • Retail spend and upselling.
  • Right people, right place, right time in key areas.
