What to expect

The Talent Development Partner – Capability is responsible for supporting the design, coordination and delivery of impactful Performance, Talent and Development initiatives as part of the Talent Management strategy. This role plays a key part in building enterprise-wide initiatives that supports the overall organisational culture, performance and transformation agenda.

The Talent Development Partner – Capability will design learning and development interventions aligned to capability frameworks, skills gaps and future requirements, translating capability needs into clear learning outcomes, programme structures and development journeys.

Determine the most appropriate design approach for each capability topic, leading the design of workshops, blended learning, on‑the‑job development and cohort‑based programmes, whether developed in‑house or with external specialist partners.

Ensure learning design is embedded and aligned with performance management, talent, succession and career development processes, supporting practical application to real‑world challenges. Support the development and review of learner materials, facilitator guides and supporting resources; coordinate learning activity as required; and use insight, evaluation data and participant feedback to continuously refine design and maximise impact.

What you’ll need to succeed

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in HR, L&D, Psychology, or related field
  • Relevant professional accreditation (e.g. CIPD, coaching, psychometrics, development tools)

Experience

  • Strong experience in designing and delivering performance, talent and development initiatives in a large, complex organisation
  • Confident working with, providing guidance and influencing senior stakeholders and executives on performance, talent and development initiatives
  • Skilled in assessing and advance performance, talent and development initiatives based on feedback and external analysis
  • Experience working with external learning partners, internal and external system partners, coaches, or leadership development providers
  • Able to evaluate performance, talent and development outcomes and translate insights into actionAbility to handle sensitive data and information confidentially and discreetly
  • Strong presentation and delivery skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
