£40,000 – £46,000 plus progression, study support, regular travel, flexible working, occasional overnight stays, company benefits.
Reading / remote – with regular travel.
We are a well‑established consultancy specialising primarily in utilities and topographical surveys, working with a range of clients from private individuals to Tier 1 contractors. In the last 25 years we have experienced continuous growth, and we are now looking to expand our friendly surveying team.
Role
In this varied role you will work primarily autonomously as well as within a survey team of 20. You will undertake utility and topographical surveys, mostly on site, carrying out daily site visits from South London down to the South Coast, with occasional overnight stays. Some work may be carried out from home as required.
Responsibilities
- Undertake utility surveys.
- Carry out topographical and other surveys as required.
- Work within a team of 20+ – typically on site with one other surveyor but also work autonomously.
- Conduct daily site visits, primarily from South London to the South Coast.
- Manage occasional overnight stays and related work.
Qualifications
- Utility Surveyor or similar.
- Full driving licence.
- Based near Reading and willing to undertake regular travel.
- Experience in utilities, environmental, land or topographical surveying preferred.
