Lead Licencing Officer

Part time role 21 hours per week – to be worked Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Ideally majority of the time in the office, but would consider hybrid working not fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Licensing team delivering the licensing function ensuring compliance with the Client’s statutory obligations.
• Acting as the Licensing Lead, advise and support Licensing team members as required and reporting to the Environmental Health and Licensing Team Leader.
• Attend internal Licensing Team meetings.
• Keep up to date with policy development, draft any policy required for renewal and present to Licensing Committee.
• Respond to routine enquiries, complaints, processing applications across the whole of the Licensing service.
• Carry out Licensed inspections, investigations of non-compliance as required and take enforcement action if necessary.
• Prepare reports and present to any Licensing Subcommittee hearings.
