Location: Head Office, Ascot 

Ascot Design is growing and we are looking for a talented Architectural Designer to join our award-winning team, working on front-end design and planning application delivery (RIBA Stages 0–2). 

We work on a wide range of exciting projects, primarily within the residential and mixed-use sectors, ranging from small-scale developments to large strategic schemes. Our work is focused on creating thoughtful, attractive and commercially aware design solutions. 

This role would suit a motivated and creative designer looking to develop their experience within a collaborative studio environment, supporting the wider team across a variety of projects from concept through to planning submission.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Supporting the development of projects through RIBA Stages 0–2 
  • Assisting with layouts and bespoke house type designs 
  • Preparing planning drawings, presentation material and design packages 
  • Undertaking site analysis and contextual research 
  • Supporting the preparation of outline, detailed and reserved matters applications 
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team 
  • Assisting with presentations and project coordination 
  • Contributing creatively to the development of design ideas and concepts 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Good design, layout and presentation skills 
  • Interest and experience in residential and mixed-use projects 
  • Creative thinking with a good understanding of architecture and placemaking 
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal, and organisational skills 
  • A proactive, positive and team-oriented attitude 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced studio environment
