SCUK De-Fleet Administrator

Santander Consumer Finance is one of the UK’s Leading Motor Finance companies and we are currently looking for a De-fleet Administrator to join the expanding Leasing team in Milton Keynes on a 12 month initial contract.This role plays a key part in supporting the effective management of the end-of-contract vehicle lifecycle, ensuring processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with industry guidelines. The position involves reviewing vehicle damage in accordance with BVRLA standards, coordinating collections, and managing de-fleet activities to ensure a smooth transition at contract end.Please note this role is office based 5 days a week (initially in Newport Pagnell and later this year in Milton Keynes)Responsibilities will include:Review end of contract vehicle damage and process in accordance with BVRLA guidelinesAction requests and support the wider business with any end of contract queryFollow the de-fleet processes and support the wider businessSupporting collection of vehicles when required and associated tasksTo deal with all incoming communication and where appropriate, resolve within Company Policy and service levelsEnsure each communication is dealt with in a professional mannerClearly and accurately document any actions takenProvide an exceptional level of service, adapting to different scenarios and challengesMake informed decisions collaboratively with customers to provide appropriate solutionsUnderstand issues from the customer’s perspective, by asking pertinent questions to drive further understandingGathering information from relevant external partiesTo develop and maintain appropriate knowledge in products, procedures, policy, legislation and technologyAdhere to company complaints policies & proceduresTo be able to multitask and be flexible within the tasks delegated on a daily basisTo ensure all customer related data is accurately recorded and always factual in line with GDPRAchieving monthly targets set by the leadership teamResolving queries within agreed authorityAdhering to our commitment to Consumer Duty ensuring we put our customers’ needs first and set higher and clearer standards of consumer protectionWhat we’re looking for:Previous experience in an administrative role dealing with customers both verbally and in writingMust possess first class written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders across the businessStrong attention to detail and produce work to the highest standardMust display sound time management skills by delivering activity within prescribed timeframes through the effective prioritisation of actions (self and team) across multiple tasksMust be capable of planning daily work allocation to prioritise urgent and important tasks first and then work through all other tasks keeping to deadlinesComputer Literacy/MS office skills (including Outlook/Excel/Word etc)We have a range of benefits available which include:Competitive salary of £26,00025 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidaysAnnual bonus based on personal and company performance£500 flexible benefit allowanceGenerous pension contributionsEmployee assistance programmeSharesave schemeGym passes at a reduced rate for 3,000 gyms, leisure centres etcInclusionAt Santander we’re creating a thriving workplace where all colleagues feel they belong and are supported to succeed.
