The opportunity

In this role, you will lead the definition, development and delivery of the cost of ownership attribute at vehicle, system and component level across all Aston Martin programmes. This includes areas such as service costs, insurance ratings, warranty forecasting, recovery and leasing costs, combining both objective data and subjective customer perception.

You will be responsible for building and evolving a clear attribute strategy that reflects our brand DNA, while benchmarking against best‑in‑class standards. Through close collaboration with teams across engineering, manufacturing, service, quality, product strategy and beyond, you will ensure that this attribute is fully embedded across the organisation and consistently delivered across every programme.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition, development and delivery of the cost of ownership attribute at vehicle, system and component level across all Aston Martin programmes.
  • Guide virtual and physical validation activities, ensuring robust delivery within cost, timing and quality constraints.
  • Develop and maintain standards, processes and methodologies, and provide clear reporting and insights to support decision‑making across the business.
  • Ensure effective governance through programme gateways.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate the “voice of the customer” into meaningful targets and measurable outcomes.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures issued by and on behalf of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within an automotive OEM or a closely related sector, with a strong understanding of product delivery and attribute development.
  • Experience leading and influencing indirect teams in complex, cross‑functional environments.
  • Strong analytical capability and sound financial understanding.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Structured and detail‑oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to connect technical detail with customer impact and commercial awareness.
  • Comfortable working across high‑volume and niche vehicle programmes.
