We’re supporting a leading global consultancy as they continue to expand their AI and Emerging Technology capability across the UK. They’re looking to hire an experienced AI Solution Architect / Engineer at Senior Manager level to help shape and deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions for major clients.
This is a highly client-facing, strategic role focused on designing AI solutions, supporting pre‑sales engagements, and demonstrating the value of modern AI technologies across complex enterprise environments.
The Role
You’ll work closely with clients, sales teams, architects, and delivery functions to shape scalable and commercially viable AI solutions. The role sits at the intersection of AI architecture, cloud engineering, and consulting, with a strong focus on early‑stage solutioning and client engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Designing enterprise AI and cloud‑native solutions aligned to client needs
- Building prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to demonstrate AI capabilities and business value
- Supporting bids, proposals, and client presentations during the sales lifecycle
- Translating business challenges into technically feasible AI solutions
- Acting as a trusted advisor to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Advising on AI model suitability, deployment approaches, and cloud architecture
- Working across hyperscaler AI platforms and cloud ecosystems
- Ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and commercially viable
- Collaborating with engineering and delivery teams throughout engagements
- Supporting AI strategy, innovation, and transformation initiatives across enterprise clients
What They’re Looking For
- Strong experience operating in a consulting, pre‑sales, or client‑facing AI architecture role
- Experience shaping and designing enterprise AI solutions
- Strong understanding of AI Model Architecture, including LLMs and SLMs
- Knowledge of model performance, suitability, training requirements, and deployment considerations
Hands‑on experience with at least two of the following:
- AWS Bedrock / SageMaker
- OpenAI services
