About you

  • Proven experience in UK pharmaceutical market access, including pricing, reimbursement, and HTA processes
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, particularly ICSS, ICBs, and specialised commissioning pathways
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across healthcare systems
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify access barriers and develop actionable solutions
  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, medical, regulatory, and business development teams

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and driven Market Access Manager to join our UK Commercial team. This is a field-based role covering the Southern UK region and plays a pivotal part in delivering sales and market access outcomes across our portfolio. You’ll be instrumental in shaping regional strategies, building stakeholder relationships, and driving access to our medicines in alignment with national objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional market access strategies to support brand and commercial objectives
  • Lead initiatives to secure formulary inclusion and optimise funding for service elements like patient pathways
  • Build and maintain relationships with NHS England, ICSS, ICBs, local authorities, and payer influencers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align regional plans with national strategy and support future product launches
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring ROI and readiness across the portfolio
