Senior Dynamics Platform Engineer – Lead the design, development, and optimisation of solutions across Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform. In this role you will deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions that support the organisation’s digital strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing, building, and maintaining high-quality solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
- Leading end-to-end solution delivery, from requirements gathering and architectural design through to deployment and ongoing operational support
- Developing and maintaining integrations with external systems, including standard and custom connectors, using approved best-practice integration patterns
- Optimising and enhancing existing solutions to improve performance, usability, scalability, and long-term maintainability
- Ensuring strong platform governance by applying environment strategy, naming conventions, solution structuring, and lifecycle management standards
- Implementing and overseeing role-based security, data integrity controls, and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Acting as a senior technical escalation point, providing guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across development and delivery teams
- Driving continuous improvement through effective application lifecycle management (ALM) practices and the adoption of modern tooling, automation, and emerging capabilities such as AI‑enabled features and Microsoft Copilot
Who we’re looking for
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise‑scale solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, supported by relevant Microsoft certifications
- Deep technical expertise across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365, with strong configuration, customisation, and integration skills
- A proven track record of designing and delivering end‑to‑end solutions, from discovery and design through to deployment and operational support
- Strong understanding of modern integration approaches, including APIs, standard and custom connectors, and secure, scalable integration patterns
- Advanced knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM), environment strategy, and DevOps practices, including version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of data governance, data modelling, and security best practices to ensure compliant and responsible use of data
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience working within agile delivery environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and leveraging modern capabilities such as AI‑enabled automation and Microsoft Copilot
