Finance Director

Our Privately Owned client is seeking a Finance Director to join their business at a time of significant commercial and operation change. Leading one of their Business Units, you will be responsible for combining strategy, commercial delivery and full P&L ownership in a rapidly evolving environment.

Key deliverables for this role will include:

• Leading the annual planning, budget, and forecasting cycles, ensuring realism, ambition, and robust scenario modelling.
• Work closely with Managing Directors and business unit leadership to drive a high‑performance culture.
• Introduce and maintain forward‑looking executive reporting, metrics, dashboards and exception reporting.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, streamlining finance processes and driving standardisation across units.
• Provide decision‑ready insight across volumes, revenue, margin, cost base and P&L performance.

Given the nature of this business and their current drive to evolve their performance, prior experience of operating in a senior commercial finance position within a PE background would prove beneficial.
