  • Identify and mitigate environmental risks relating to biodiversity, water resources, air quality, sustainability, and noise impacts.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for early-stage development activities.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams including environmental consultants, planners, engineers, and specialist advisors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout due diligence and environmental planning phases.
  • Provide strategic environmental and sustainability advice to support informed development decisions.
  • Support ESG objectives and sustainability-focused development strategies across projects.
  • Conduct baseline environmental studies, scoping exercises, and coordination with specialist consultants including ecological, hydrological, and geotechnical teams.

Requirements

  • Professional accreditation such as IEMA, RTPI, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and environmental planning activities for large-scale infrastructure or development projects.

  • Experience managing early-stage development and feasibility activities, ideally within RIBA Stages 0–1.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, environmental risk management, and ESG frameworks.
  • Excellent project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and communicate complex environmental issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working on mission critical, industrial, commercial, energy, or data centre developments would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to operate within international project environments.
