Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum + Company Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager from a Logistics / Warehousing background to lead the formation of a new H&S team across sites in Essex and Suffolk. The role involves establishing processes, overseeing safety compliance, and developing a competent workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage an H&S team covering multiple sites in Essex and Suffolk
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures for health & safety management
• Monitor workforce safety, deliver leadership training, and conduct regular audits
• Perform hands‑on inspections, audits and compliance checks, especially during early stages of the role
• Works Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30

What We Are Looking For

• Health and Safety Manager or equivalent professional
• Relevant experience in logistics or warehousing environments
• Ability to commute to Basildon and cover two sites
• Strong communication, leadership and analytical skills
