Aviation Part 145 Planning Engineer (6m Contract)

MPI have a requirement for Part 145 Production Planning Engineer for 6 month contract with possible extension to be based on site at Stansted Airport.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND OVERHAUL PART 145.

Working Days 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday (40 hrs per week)

JOB PURPOSE

The Part 145 Planning Engineer supports the organisation in production and management of maintenance and modification projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Manages complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects to protect the critical path.
• Produces work packages in line with the customers’ requirements to ensure access, spares, tooling, manpower and third‑party service requirements are identified, ordered and available prior the aircraft scheduled downtime.
• Coordinates acceptance of aircraft into maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrable experience of project management within an engineering environment.
• 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, operations, CAMO or manufacturing.
