Overview

We have partnered with an FM Contractor who has been in the industry since 1986, with offices in London and Manchester and presence across Europe. They have recently expanded and, due to demand, are seeking an experienced FM Contracts Manager to operate 2 buildings around Charing Cross.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of hard FM services across two corporate buildings in Charing Cross.
  • Manage a team of 10 engineers across both sites and take full operational responsibility for the contracts.
  • Act as the primary client contact, ensuring all services are delivered in line with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring full statutory and health & safety compliance across all building systems (including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, BMS, and life safety).
  • Manage subcontractors, control budgets and costs, and support minor works and additional revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Live in or around the M25 and able to commute to Charing Cross and the company’s office in Croydon.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing contracts and buildings.
  • Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 minimum).
  • IOSH Managing Safely (minimum) / NEBOSH (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of CAFM systems.
  • Strong technical hard services background to provide statutory maintenance and service to all commercial building service appliances.
  • Able to keep all compliance logbooks up to date.
  • Ability to manage P&L & budgets.
  • Advise the client on lifecycle asset management and bring in small works.

  • £55-70k based on experience.

  • Train travel is covered to sites in London.
  • 21 days holiday and rising by 1 day per year.
