Used Car Sales Manager – Stoke on Trent

Salary – Up to £35,000 Basic + Bonus + Company Car OTE 70 – 80k

Days – Monday – Friday, 5 days per week, 10am – 7pm, 42.5 hours per week, 2 days off on a weekday then work Saturday & Sunday (Saturday hours= 10am – 7pm & Sunday Hours = 10am – 5pm)

Role

• Lead and oversee a busy sales department—including Sales Executives, the Business Manager, and administrative team members—reporting directly to the General Manager
• Manage the team to deliver a seamless sales process while maintaining close customer engagement throughout the vehicle purchase journey
• Ensure adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards, including compliance with FCA and financial regulations
• Set and surpass targets for unit sales, finance penetration, and additional aftermarket products
• Coach, develop, and mentor the sales team, using structured training and performance management to boost individual and team effectiveness

Requirements

• Must have a Full UK Driving License
• 1+ years experience as a Sales manager at an independent garage, used car dealership or main dealer environment is needed
