Project Manager – Substations / Grid Connections

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of substation projects, managing stakeholder relationships, budgets, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead multi-functional teams to deliver projects (~£3m per annum).
• Manage budgets, risks, and commercial performance.
• Develop stakeholder relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Work closely with DNOs and National Grid, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee resource planning, contract management, and supply chain performance.

Requirements:

• Proven Project Management experience in substations and connections.
• Experience with 33kV+ substations is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication, and commercial acumen.
• Degree (or equivalent) in Utilities Management, Project Management, or Engineering.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Must be authorised to work in the UK.

Salary £60-£75k dependant on experience.
