Production Operative Department: Randalstown Feedmill Responsible To: Production Manager A leading food company, is seeking a motivated and hardworking Production Operative to join our dynamic team at our Randalstown site. This hands-on role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our mill facility. Key Responsibilities As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for: Cleaning bins, silos, and equipment, including confined spaces. Maintaining hygiene standards across the mill and premises. Operating machinery such as fork trucks, pallet trucks, industrial scrubbers, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers. Hours of Work This role involves shift work, with the following hours: Week 1: MON TUE SAT SUN (7.00am to 7.00pm) Week 2: WED THUR FRI (7.00am to 7.00pm) What We Are Looking For To succeed in this role, you should have: Experience: Previous experience in a production environment. Skills: Ability to operate a computerised production control system and strong mechanical aptitude. Physical Capability: Comfortable with manual handling (e.g., lifting 25kg bags) and working in confined spaces. Other Requirements: Flexibility to work weekends or night shifts, if required.
