Electrical Construction Supervisor (E&I) – Power Plant Project

Site-Based Role – UK (HPC)

We are currently supporting a major industrial player in the energy sector in the recruitment of an Electrical Construction Supervisor to join a large-scale power plant construction project.

Role Overview

As an Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical and instrumentation works on site, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery in coordination with subcontractors and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical and I&C erection activities through to commissioning handover
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Develop detailed execution plans aligned with the overall construction schedule
  • Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment before execution
  • Coordinate with engineering teams on technical documentation and site requirements
  • Monitor progress, maintain records, and report to site management
  • Ensure full compliance with QA/QC and EHS requirements
  • Identify and resolve deviations, non-conformities, and cost impacts
  • Manage as-built documentation and turnover packages for commissioning
  • Support commissioning teams and ensure closure of punch list items

Key Requirements

Education

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s level)

Experience (MUST HAVE)

  • Experience on at least 2 full-cycle power plant construction projects
  • Strong experience in site execution and subcontractor management
  • Solid understanding of power plant systems
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical/I&C discipline
