We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, an award-winning and internationally recognised Architecture and Design studio, for a talented and highly capable Studio Manager to join their London team.
This is a key position at the heart of a dynamic and creative practice, offering the opportunity to play a central role in shaping the day-to-day experience and smooth operation of a respected studio environment.
Working closely with the Director and senior team, you will become a trusted right hand, ensuring the studio runs seamlessly while contributing to a positive, professional and inspiring workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the studio and ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment
- Acting as the first point of contact for the practice, representing the studio in a professional and engaging manner
- Providing high-level administrative and organisational support to the Director and wider team
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and coordinating internal and external communications
- Overseeing document control, maintaining accurate project records and supporting submission processes
- Supporting finance administration, including invoice coordination and liaison with external accountants
- Managing suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure the studio operates efficiently
- Supporting HR and team administration, including onboarding and general staff support
- Assisting with preparation of presentations, reports, and studio information
- Identifying opportunities to improve studio processes, organisation, and overall efficiency
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a studio assistant / administrator role, ideally within architecture, design, or a creative environment
- A proactive, confident, and highly organised approach
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A natural problem solver who takes initiative and ownership
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with document control systems is advantageous
- A genuine interest in architecture, design, or the creative industries is highly desirable
