Overview
We are working with a dynamic and award-winning entertainment group based in the heart of Soho, seeking an experienced and hands-on client accountant to join their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a renowned, privately-owned talent and music management group with over 30 years in the UK entertainment industry.
The successful candidate will become the third member of a close-knit finance team, collaborating directly with senior stakeholders across the business. The portfolio covers Talent Management, Music, Production, Digital Content, Branding, Sport, and more, offering long-term progression within a forward-thinking and fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero, including reconciliations, VAT returns, and credit card analysis
- Weekly client payments via Tagmin, invoicing, and royalty accounting
- Managing debtor ledgers and overseeing credit control
- Liaising with agents, clients, suppliers, accountants, broadcasters, record labels, and publishers
- Preparing payroll, bonuses, and pension contributions
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and management accounts preparation
Candidate Requirements
- Ideally a minimum 5 years’ client-facing accounting experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Previous experience in the entertainment industry is highly advantageous; previous experience in a talent agency would be an advantage
- Familiarity with Tagmin is desirable (training can be provided)
- Study support available for candidates currently pursuing professional qualifications
