Overview
Senior Finance Manager, FP&A role at CBRE UK. Location: London. Working pattern: 4 days onsite. Reports to the VP, International Finance with a dotted line to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance (based in the US). This is a high-impact role with significant exposure and high visibility across CBRE’s global leadership, with strategic alignment to initiatives led by Chair & CEO and COO & CEO, Advisory Services and key global executives. The role involves shaping financial strategy, providing insightful analytics, and driving data-driven decision-making across CBRE’s global Advisory business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead strategic financial analysis spanning multiple international divisions, oversee the London Analyst Hub, and collaborate with the Senior Director of Strategic Finance on global analytics and coverage across time zones.
- Oversee cross-divisional analysis on the impact of bonus accruals versus payouts across bonus pool countries; provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Direct the development of financial models to set priorities and standards for analytical depth and executive presentation.
- Review complex data analyses to ensure robust assumptions and synthesized results for comparability and executive decision-making.
- Own high-level analysis of key metrics from the top 15 countries, distill strategic findings, and frame recommendations for the executive team on profit margins, improvements, and growth opportunities.
- Supervise and approve the preparation of country diagnostic white papers, providing final review and presenting critical conclusions to senior leadership.
- Represent the function in executive-level discussions, communicating financial insights, recommendations, and implications with clarity and authority.
- Create and deliver executive-level summaries, translating complex financial analyses into strategic narratives for senior stakeholders.
- Advance reporting initiatives by spearheading enhancements and process improvements in collaboration with the Reporting Center of Excellence for global reporting accuracy and efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- Big 4 / ACA-qualified.*
- Master’s degree preferred, with emphasis on analytics, economics, or macroeconomics.
- Extensive experience in a global multinational business and with global leadership.
- Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Strong analytical skills, with a background in economics or macroeconomics preferred.
- Programming Skills (Python / SQL).
