About the Role
Engineering Manager reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary development of a key area within the site‑specific SMR power station design. The role integrates engineering activities to deliver a world‑first power station concept.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering development of the allocated site‑specific design area and ensure integration with the generic SMR programme.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, manage technical alignment and support regulatory and client engagement.
- Plan and deliver engineering outputs to meet quality, schedule, and safety expectations.
- Manage resources and contribute effectively within a complex programme environment.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
A recognised engineering qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience delivering multidisciplinary design on complex infrastructure or power programmes. Experience in cooling water island, civil engineering, nuclear island, or construction readiness is desirable, along with strong knowledge of engineering integration, governance and regulatory engagement across large‑scale infrastructure projects.
Location
Hybrid working with regular attendance at Manchester, Warrington or Derby offices. Occasional travel to partner and client sites.
