Overview

Facilitates and supports Agile teams by ensuring they follow Scrum principles. To remove obstacles, enhance team collaboration, and ensure smooth communication, enabling the team to focus on delivering high-quality, iterative results. Facilitate Scrum events, promote continuous improvement, and act as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate events, as needed, and ensure that all events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
  • Ensure quality of ceremony artefacts and continuous customer value through iteration execution, maintain backlog refinement, and iterate on stakeholder feedback.
  • Identify and facilitate the removal of conflict impacting team flow, utilizing metrics to empower the team to communicate effectively, making all work visible.
  • Identify and escalated risks to remove impediments and shield the Squad from interruptions.
  • Foster and coach Agile Team attributes and continuous improvement, encourage stakeholder collaboration, deputise ‘in the moment leadership’, and drive high-performing team attributes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder collaboration (e.g., business stakeholders, product teams, vendors) and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality and provide representation at required governance forums, if applicable.

  • Collaborates closely with other functions/business divisions, leads a team performing complex tasks, and delivers on work that impacts the whole business function.

  • Manages risk and strengthens controls in relation to the work done.
  • Engages in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively, and communicates complex information.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience supporting planning and delivery across internal teams and initiatives, helping to design and execute solutions.
  • Understanding of the importance of data and records management within a financial institution, along with the potential business impact of ineffective practices.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile ways of working, along with practical knowledge of using Jira.
  • Ability to help document the impact of change and present options clearly.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across and connect with different teams and departments.
  • Experience using AI to enhance and improve business processes.
  • Ability to demonstrate risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job‑specific technical skills.
