About The Role
As Team Leader, Operations, you will lead the day‑to‑day running of the Clarendon Recovery College, ensuring the smooth delivery of a high‑quality programme of educational courses designed to support adults with their mental health recovery. You will oversee course delivery from end to end, ensuring sessions are well‑resourced, delivered on time and provide a positive learning experience for all students. Alongside operational management, you will take responsibility for staff supervision, curriculum planning and maintaining high standards across the service, including facilities and the on‑site café. This is a varied, hands‑on leadership role where you will make a tangible impact on service delivery and the lives of residents.
About The Team
You will be part of a dedicated and collaborative Recovery College service within Adults, Health and Communities, working closely with mental health professionals, peer trainers and partner organisations such as the NHS and third sector providers. The service is built on a co‑production model, bringing together professional expertise and lived experience to design and deliver meaningful learning opportunities. You will work alongside a supportive management team and a network of trainers and volunteers, contributing to an inclusive and innovative environment focused on recovery, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
About You
You will be an organised and proactive leader with experience managing services, projects or teams, ideally within a health, education or community setting. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff, build relationships and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. An understanding of mental health recovery, co‑production and working with people with lived experience is key, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high service standards. Above all, you will be passionate about supporting others, improving services and making a positive difference in the community.
