Agricultural Service Engineer – Crop Sprayer Specialist

Location of the Job:

  • 20% based from the depot in Worcestershire.
  • 80% field based covering the West Midlands, Wales and South of England.

Salary and Benefits Package:

  • Competitive Salary: Paying up to £45,000+ per annum.

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.
  • Contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday + overtime during busy / seasonal periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults on specialist agricultural machinery.
  • Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machinery.
  • Preform pre-season checks and post-season overhauls.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, service reports and job cards.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers when needed.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong diagnostic abilities across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to fault finding.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, reliability and the ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Welding and fabrication skills also a massive bonus.
  • NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2 or an equivalent qualification relevant for the job.
