Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurology | Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurology to join a London teaching hospital. The role provides national training and mentoring from a Neurology consultant educational supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Manage Neurology inpatients, ward referrals, and outpatient clinics as part of a Consultant‑led team.
• Attend consultant‑led ward rounds of new patients and SpR‑led ward rounds of existing patients.
• Review Neurology inpatient consults and perform regular functions of a Neurology Registrar.
• Carry out supervised outpatient clinics, attend multidisciplinary team meetings and sub‑specialty clinics (Neuro‑inflammation, Cognitive and Neuro‑ID).
• Assess and manage patients using clinical guidelines with consultant support.
• Participate in departmental and Trust initiatives, quality improvement projects, and regional Neurosciences meetings at Charing Cross Hospital.
• Optional: join the local Medical registrar on‑call rota at West Middlesex University Hospital GIM rota or the regional Stroke and Neurology Registrar on‑call rota.

Training & Support

This post is ideal for candidates obtaining a National training number in Neurology. You will receive mentoring from a Neurology consultant educational supervisor and work in a high‑performing, supportive environment with senior presence and a dedicated multi‑professional team.

Applicants should have knowledge and interest in Neurology and be willing to function as a Senior Clinical Fellow in a teaching hospital setting.
