Job Title: Sales Executive – New & Used

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £18,000 basic + uncapped commission (£65,000 OTE+)

Job Type: Full‑Time | Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

We are recruiting for a growing sales team at our client’s family‑run dealership in Portsmouth. This position is with a well‑established group, operating across Hampshire and West Sussex, representing some of the most exciting brands in the Industry.

No motor trade experience is required; full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates from hospitality, events, retail, or any customer‑focused background who are confident communicators and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do as a Car Sales Executive

• Achieve and strive to exceed all monthly and annual sales and associated product targets
• Achieve maximum profitability on sales
• Ensure highest degree of customer satisfaction to achieve customer loyalty
• Ensure customer awareness of options, accessories, extended warranty and finance facilities
• Achieve industry‑leading standards of customer care
• Become Brand Ambassador and develop and maintain full knowledge of all products, accessories, price and key features

What We’re Looking for in a Car Sales Executive

• Previous experience in car sales is an advantage – but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience
• Self‑motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
• Full UK driving licence required
