Job Description Summary
The Sales Executive supports marketing, leasing and occupancy/revenue objectives for Canvas/Chapter by delivering leasing activities to new residents and renewal of existing residents.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to deliver exceptional resident living.
- Respond to all incoming sales enquiries in a timely manner and meet set targets.
- Initiate proactive outbound contact to convert leads from lead generation and existing database.
- Understand, update and improve knowledge of community, amenities, units and local area.
- Maintain accurate and timely data capture and contact details.
- Plan and organise daily activities to maximise time and achieve targeted leasing numbers.
- Convert prospects and leads into viewing appointments and bookings to meet leasing targets.
- Support all communities and cross‑sell based on resident requirements.
- Follow up on required documentation, contract returns and process payments.
- Manage cancellations in line with targets and negotiate compromises when needed.
- Undertake marketing activities to promote the property and monitor competitor activity.
- Lead morning huddles with the broader Sales team and ensure accuracy of advertised content.
- Triage non‑sales enquiries and manage them professionally.
Organisational Responsibilities
- Follow established policies and procedures, monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, organisational standards, and operational processes.
- Report safety issues such as equipment malfunctions, injuries or accidents.
- Identify areas for improvement, offer suggestions, and implement ideas to achieve operational excellence.
- Keep abreast of changes in technology, processes and standards and attend training.
Role Scope
Reports to the UK Senior Sales Manager, Student. Supports other Greystar brands during peaks. Requires presence at Head Office minimum 2 days per week, with reasonable home‑working arrangement.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- General education with literacy and numeracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other systems such as Salesforce.
- Experience in a sales role in accommodation, hospitality, leisure or membership environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to influence and adapt quickly, and function under target pressure.
- Strong organisation skills, able to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
- Cultural awareness and ability to adapt communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, can act autonomously and make decisions.
- Proficient at using online web tools for research and presentation.
- Fluent English verbal and written communication.
- Additional language skills desirable.
