Nursery Baby Room Lead – Little Learners at Greenhall

We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro‑active individual with strong organisational skills and a child‑centred approach to lead a fantastic staff team and bring fun and play to our children’s lives.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Full and relevant EYFS qualification at Level 3 or above and at least 2 years of experience in a baby room.
  • Love coming into the nursery each day to spend time with our precious little ones and lead a fantastic staff team.
  • Have a warm, infectious smile that greets children, families, and staff.
  • Read and research best practice in early years, reflect on it, and implement it within your room, explaining the rationale to staff.
  • Be organised, professional, and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Lead by example and be willing to get hands dirty; join in play and creative activities with children.
  • Pay attention to details, such as knowing whose coat is whose and finding missing items.
  • Be loving, kind, and offer hugs to children and staff.
  • Have the courage to do the right thing, even when it is difficult.
  • Be passionate about meeting the needs of all children, including those with SEND.
  • Lead a team of support staff and inspire, challenge, and motivate others.
